A walking meditation is one where you walk with your head up and no distractions. Walk along and notice every little detail you can. Only thinking about that detail nothing else can interfere. The purpose of this is to quiet the mind, to learn to focus on what's right before you, taking the time to enjoy this helps with stress, and learning that there is another way to live and get perspective on your life.
Try doing this sometime today. It doesn't have to be long. Every bit of time will be a benefit.
